
Following the success of Concept UniverseVolvo at Shanghai Motor Show in April 2011 and then, Volvo design team is really motivated to further refine his idea and began producing a complete model of the interior within a few months to show in Frankfurt. The overall concept was created to demonstrate how the vision of the future of Volvo cars under new ownership.

By using Autodesk Alias software, the design team concept model is able to quickly create digital prototypes from initial sketches of the designers. It facilitates the team, to immediately hone and test the design on the PC monitor screen, helping to save time and maintain the integrity behind the original design concept. As a result, the designers were able to get the right choice for technical surfacing and visualization of the car as quickly as possible without having to start again from the initial sketches that resulted in reworking
Volvo design team accustomed to working with a very tight schedule, it is very common in this industry. Cars of today are becoming increasingly complex and sophisticated with a very high technical composition, but the producers are also under pressure to design more rapidly by reducing the cost of the required course.
